Initial Color Ideas

I played around with color ideas today. This is pretty close to what I was picturing when you were explaining the shot to me, Courtney. Aside from maybe some blue-ish lightning in the clouds(?). more to come...



I also did a google search for some images of clouds I thought may be useful.

    What a beautiful way to start us out, Cassandra! Not only do I love your painting, but I am totally for the colors of the clouds. I could almost hope for them to look more menacing, I'll have to do some tests on how to get them to roll at a set speed and direction. Love the links, too! I'll make some posts pointing out which specific ones go in the direction I'm envisioning. Thanks for your hard work!
